Week 2

This week, we learned about SteamVR and Leap Motion, two key factors necessary to immerse the player into the VR world. SteamVR enables access to the VR headset, while Leap Motion tracks the player as they traverse rooms.

  • Integrated VR in the binary puzzle room.

  • Debugged one of our first rooms, a food supply room dedicated to learning about simple fractions.

The prototype for the fraction room. We plan on making this room similar to the food supply of a ship or vessel.

Next week, we plan to


  • Explore integrating multiple players into the game

  • Add the binary puzzle room to project

  • Continue brainstorming room ideas

  • Possibly begin to start working on a new room

  • Begin our website.
